With the release of Custom Post Type Extended, we continue down the path of helping our non-developer friends to easily display their custom data.
In Version 1.1, we focused on products with the addition of templates for both WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads. We used their built-in functions to not only allow you to display a product, but also the product’s variations. Now, your readers will be able to add the product to their card directly from your page or post.
And if you’re looking to create a simple list of products, we added a template to easily display any of your custom posts, products, pages or even your blog posts in a bulleted or numbered list.
We reworked the HTML and CSS for the display output to ensure that the data displayed with CPTUI Extended looks good across the vast majority of WordPress themes.
We’ve also added a slew of hooks to the templates as well, so that if you do decide to get under the hood, you’ll have the ability to custom the display templates in any way you choose.
While we were at it, we added a handful of other enhancements and bug fixes that you can see here.
